Most movies are not new ideas.
You don’t need to have new ideas to be successful. In fact, it’s harder to become successful with new ideas.
You see, people don’t like to admit it, but they like the same old thing they are used to.
They like movies with the same plots, music with the same chords, and restaurants with the same food.
Why? Because, it’s safe and easy.
Trying new things could be dangerous. What if I don’t like it? What if I waste my precious time? What if…
But that’s good news for you. That means you don’t need to come up with a new idea to be successful.
Just do what’s working, but do it better.
Take an old idea and combine it with your experience, opinions, and expertise. After doing that, most people won’t be able to even tell it’s not a new idea.
Actually, you don’t even have to do it better…
You only need to make others perceive that you are doing it better…
That’s why marketing is so important – you can take an idea or product that’s already working, do the same exact thing, but just market it better.

These are businesses that are successful, but don’t market themselves well. That means any other business can enter that market, produce the same product or service – and if they market themselves well – beat the pants of established players.
So, remember. You don’t need to come up with new ideas to be successful. You don’t even have to be better than everyone else. You only need people to perceive you’re better.
